The Challenge
The mine had limited network infrastructure across several operational areas, creating a need to improve fibre connectivity between facilities. There were also insufficient network points for users and connected devices, along with gaps in wireless network coverage that affected reliable access to network and digital services.
Our Approach
Digital Express Technologies conducted a site assessment to identify network infrastructure and connectivity gaps across the mine, followed by detailed implementation planning. We then expanded the fibre network between key facilities, installed additional network points, and deployed wireless access points in areas with limited coverage. The approach focused on creating a more reliable, scalable and secure network environment that could support the mine’s operational requirements, connected devices and future digital initiatives.
